Wow Jewellery for Your Seven Vows!!

And, here comes yet another stunning jewellery collection from none other than World Gold council! While the Wedding season in India is an ongoing event throughout the year, it is particularly the Winters that witness the maximum number og weddings, and that seems to be an apt reason for any Jewellery brand to launch their Wedding collection at this time of the year!

Azva Collection by WGC

The World Gold Council introduces Indian wedding jewellery collection ‘Azva’.
This is an ensemble inspired by 'Saat Pheras or Seven Vows’ crafted in 22-karat gold. Azva is a wedding jewellery that celebrates the moment of togetherness with designs crafted in 22-karat gold and inspired by the “Saat Pheras or Seven Vows’ of Indian wedding. While it still has some time to mark it's presence in the Indian market, Azva is being unveiled to the Indian jewellery industry at the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) 2012 from 23rd to 27th August in Mumbai.

Derived from the Sanskrit word ashva, the name ‘Azva’ symbolizes the seven vows that every couple takes on the pious day of their wedding. Formed out of seven strokes in gold, the Azva logo is a universe that represents the holistic and infinite nature of these seven promises. Each piece is a superb blend of  the traditions of yesteryear with the modern interpretation of the seven promises for the young brides.

This new line is aimed towards modern Indian couples in age bracket of 23-30 who appreciate and enjoy fine designs. Fashioned in 22 karat gold by the finest goldsmiths in the country, the Azva collection is a gorgeous example of craftsmanship. It comprises of exquisite necklaces, earrings and bracelets shaped out of seven concentric circles, seven triangular forms overflowing with intricate gold vines and seven delicate flowers strung together to form breath-taking pieces. Every set in the Azva collection stays true to the idea of seven.

And, for the other cities of India, perhaps they will have to wait till next year. Sigh!
