Model Shoot on Festival Looks & Styles

So, here we bring to you one of our recent shoot, which was all about interesting winter colours, styles to go with the festival season.

Archana in M&S Maxi-dress!
The shoot was fun, as we did it in Mystic Spa, in Surya Hotel in the capital. While we decided to get a makeup & hair expert for the looks, Mystic's efficient team of makeup and hair stylist took care of everything so smoothly and effortlessly!

Archana, from World Connect Productions, one of the well known model and event management agencies from Kolkata, was our model for this shoot. Considering her Indian looks, all these contemporary outfits, that had the festive touch looked great. From Marks & Spencer, Wills Lifestyle, to Westside &, we sourced from all these brands that had stunning collection available for this season.

When we talk about festivals, the only thing that comes to our mind is something ethnic, or something that's totally Indian. Well, but you don't necessarily have to go for ethnic styles for all the festivals. Try these contemporary styles and cuts, and be assured that you will look different for sure!

A Big Hair Accessory Works Wonders!

Starting with what you see on top is a maxi dress from M&S. While the look is fresh and summery, the dress is a fresh appeal for a day look. Combine it with any bling or colourful accessory, and turn into a stunner, even if you are a next door girl and not a model!

If you have long hair, leaving them open is the way out. It gives a relaxed feel, and at the same adds glamour to your look. Mystic's hairstylist, played with he texture of hair, and what you see here are soft curls. Perfectly feminine!

Next is again a long dress, but has more of an evening wear appeal. Yes, it would well with your evening pre-festive celebrations. Bright blue, and magenta with low cut neckline add that sexy look to your personality.
Now, shifting our focus to makeup, check out the bright lipstick and subtle eye shadow. The indigo palette for your eyes will make them look deeper. Touch up with slight metallic crystals at the corner to accentuate.

While lip colour should be individual's choice, it's generally the red tone that goes well during festivals and celebrations.

And, if you are really tired of the open, flowing locks, simply twist and tie them on the top (check the pic below) and see the difference!
Combine it with a bold and chunky piece, a neck piece, or even a chic wrist watch, like this one from DKNY.

Also, for makeup, make sure to keep one thing simple. Ad, for this look, we decided to go for a fuller lips!

Lastly, remember the festival time is all about celebration. So, don't overdo your looks, styles, and accessories to an extent that it may become an obstacle in your celebrations. So, no to big heels, layers and drapes, exaggerated danglers, just to name a few.
