Bridal & Party Look Book!

And, we are back with yet another model shoot that we recently did in one of the newly launched salons in the capital. With a different theme this time, which was 'BRIDAL & PARTY' the shoot also exhibited the bridal collection a young designer from Delhi, named Bhumika Grover. With three beautiful, fresh models named, Aakriti Anand, Ekta, both from Elite Model agency, and Sakshi from World Connection Production, the shoot turned out to be a wonderful amalgamation of beauty, looks, styles, and elegance, all in a sheer poised way!

So, coming to the salon first, which gave the looks, this is a newly opened salon, named Mojo, in the capital. Started by young entrepreneur and makeup expert Sumukhi Saini, the salon is quite spacious, and is well divided in two floors.

While the shoot was precisely about the Bridal looks,we invited designer Bhumika Grover to be part of it, and sourced the bridal outfits from her recent collection.

Grover's studio is in the fashion hub of Delhi, and has melange of colours to select from. From Anarkali's to exquisite lehenga's to semi-formals to pure ethnic, she has all.

So, for this particular shoot, we zeroed in on a couple of bridal dresses, and a modern style suit, all in primary and vibrant colours.

Also, since we had three stunning models, Saini too got some collection of her's to complete the looks that she decided to go for!

The first look that started with Aakriti was all about Bridal look. From hair (high bun) do to the lehenga (in pink), the look for of a shy bride, who is all set for her D'day. But, she is a modern bride, and so the make up, and even the style added the confidence to her top-to-toe look. Best thing about this subtle look is that Aakriti pulled it with great elegance!
Grover's outfits had fabrics like Georgette  lace, silks, brocades, intertwined with gorgeous golden borders, and hand crafted embroidery. All adding that oomph!

Saini later shifted to a more vibrant look on Sakshi, which  had a touch of orange, and gold. with a modern choli style blouse, Sakshi's bridal look was absolutely modern. She carried the dress with elan, and the drapes totally accentuated her beauty. For this look, her hairdo was tied up on one side.
The other look on the same model was quite casual, as she wore a pick and orange combination suit. It was simply a blow-dry hair, with pink eye-shadow, and semi-nude lips.

Our third model, totally bubbly, carried a very classic look, somewhat like vintage. Saini turned her into a 70's beauty with focus shifting to her eyes and hairdo.
In one look Ekta wore a nice cocktail saree with a backless halter-neck blouse, and her hair style made her look like a diva. And, in the second look, which was more on the classic side, she turned into a shy bride, looking for her groom!

The looks and the outfits were a clear prediction of what the wedding and party trend this season is witnessing. From bright, to opulent, to something subtle, all six looks were the mix of the celebrations that these occasions involve!

And, the glimpses of a few more looks of the shoot!!
