Where Strokes Say it All...

And, we are back to make your Monday even more beautiful... Remember series on "Make up, Expert... & her Magic Spell", we have yet another very creative expert in our innovative series. Meet make up expert Ashima Kapoor, who is a full-time faculty with Pearl Academy . Don't wonder, she doesn't look after fashion courses, but teaches Makeup, of course.

Ashima Kapoor With her Student Muse
In our series, we have featured freelance make up experts who have been associated with brands of repute, but this is for the first time that we are featuring a faculty instructor. and, we feel privileged, as the creativity of a teacher  is of a different league all together. and, we realized this when we reached Kapoor's studio class, where she had invited one of her students to be her model for this shoot.
We have talked about the summer looks, and it was time to shift our focus on the monsoon looks. And, Kapoor's looks really gel well with the season around.
First Look Was All About Highlighting Lips, and Lashes

" My style is more about keeping the  basics very subtle, but experimenting with the over all look. For the first look, the focus is on lips, which are bright, considering the dress that my model is wearing. Red is a very interesting colour in make up, and as most women feel that it's not meant for them, I strongly feel that we all must try it once to understand the beauty of it," told Kapoor while giving the first look. We could see that Kapoor's strokes, were s very professional, and their was not much of an effort needed. Which means that she had mastered this art with her experience and innovation both! Look at the model and her make up, it's hard to find any flaws in it. Also, their is so much elegance in the over all appearance. We liked Kapoor's style, who made sure to give a perfect hairdo as well to complete the look.
And the Touch up for the Second Look...
Now, before we shift our focus on the second look that Kapoor created, let's also pay attention to her qualifications as well. Kapoor completed her B.A (Hons) History from JMC, followed by a Diploma in Fashion & Media Make – Up from Pearl Academy in association with Developments at London Institute (DALI) at London College of Fashion. But, she seemed to be craving for more, and went on to pursue short courses at ‘The Session School’, London, ‘The London Film Academy’, London, and Masterclass with ‘Napolean Perdis’ at the International Make-up Artists Trade Show (IMATS), Pasadena, Los Angeles. Wow, isn't it?
Perfect Party Look for the Season!
Coming to the second look, which was quite sexy, and had a perfect professional look, once again showed her skills and creativity. " This look focuses on eyes, and I have given smoky effect. But, unlike the smoky colours, like black and grey, here I'm playing with green. Women must know that smoky eyes is not always about black, but you can play with our beautiful colours as well. Lips are totally nude, so as to keep the attention only on eyes," told Kapoor.

And, when her student was ready with the final look, even she was finding it hard to believe that her guide had turned her into a stunning diva. Not just with the makeup, but with the hair style too!
Now, that's what we call a Spell...
