Beauty Know-how, Via Experts...

As usual, to make your week's beginning beautiful, we are back with our Beauty features! Before we take you to our review features, and what's new in market in skincare for winters, let's quickly take a look at the events that we recently attended...

Celebrity Makeup Expert Natasha Nischol During the Masterclass...
Skincare Expert Dr. Roshni Wadhwani
Shared Some Quick & Interesting Tips!
The capital witnessed some interesting beauty learning sessions last month. Lakme, a known beauty brand for most of the India women, associated with one of the well-known magazines, and organized "Lakme Masterclass" that was all about basic skincare tips, nude make up application, and some fashion learning. It was a fun noon, which was all about learning the day-today basics about how to apply skincare products, how to do a minimal make up, and how to style keeping the body type in mind. What was more interesting was the session was organized in a very professional manner, with experts from all three fields, skincare, make up and fashion sharing their experience, teaching the sheer basics, which any average Indian woman would want to know. The event started with Mumbai-based skincare expert, Dr. Roshni Wadhwani's skincare session. She had some very useful tips to share with the lovely ladies, present during the event. " Skincare should be started right from early 20's, it's just that your product needs as per age would keep changing. no denying the fact that we all age, and will keep aging, but with right skincare, and usage of products, all you do is delay the process a little bit. Also, what is important is the way you use these products. Right application, which ought to be anti-gravitational force is again important. And, not to forget, don't go for too much of product as just a peanut size drop is more than sufficient to take care of your face, and the same size for your neck area," said Dr. Wadhwani.
And, the Fashion & Styling Session...
Later, was the turn of make up expert Natasha Nischol, who is known for her make up in "Slumdog Millionaire". She was giving tips for the no make up look. Well, don't wonder as no make up doesn't literally mean no make up at all, it's basically a makeup look that requires minimum makeup like the primer, then the CC cream from Lakme, followed by some compact, and lastly a touch of blush. she made the process look brilliantly easy. " It's actually not that tough. All you need to remember is got for the right compact or CC cream colour, which should ideally be the exact colour of your skin. If you have a lot of acne marks or pigmentation, then go for a concealer before you apply the compact. The idea is to make the skin look fresh, than leaving it bare. Lastly, either play with your eyes, or your lips with some nice kohl or lipstick," said Nischol.
Last was the Styling session, which we had to miss as we were really getting late for some other event. The session was quite interesting though, with the basic tips of what goes well with body type...

Hope our readers too have got some know-how on the basics of beauty by now!!
