Party Makeup Styles!

If your New Year party plans are in full swing, this beauty feature will sure help you to add some more fun to it. How? Well, we are bringing to you 2 interesting, easy, yet trendy looks, created by Avon India's makeup expert Neha Khanna that are not just perfect for the season and occasion, but are also experimental enough for colours and techniques!

New Year Party Look

The first one is obviously going to be the party look that you can try and experiment with this New Year. The picture in your right is screaming loud that the focus is lips in this look, especially the totally in colour - wine in the brand's most liked lipstick, Totally Kissable. to be more precise, the shade is Deep Orchid! Since we have already reviewed this lipstick, we can vouch for it on one go...

Now, let's take a look at the east steps for creating this kind of a look. Post your primer, concealer, and foundation, start with an eye-shadow, depending your colour of your clothes. Blend it well to get a balanced effect. Swipe a lot of mascara as the eye-shadow needs to be light. Apply a subtle blush on your cheekbones, just to accentuate, but not to highlight.

Khanna suggests to keep the colour of the blush close to your skin tone. While using a darker lipstick either apply it directly, or use a lipstick brush. And lastly, if you wish to get that red carpet look pair this look with a sexy black dress or a gown!

Since we know that not every woman is a party lover, some actually want to spend some time with friends and family over a nice luncheon. This second look is meant for the same. Take a look...

Sunday Brunch Look

The focus in this look has shifted to eyes, but in a very subtle way. the overall feel is soothing and elegant. To get the look right, it is essential to use compact or loose powder to set the foundation and control oil, since you might want to enjoy outdoors. Before you start beautifying the eyes with some lovely colours, define then with an eyeliner, preferably with a pencil. Smudge the liner to get an eye shadow effect followed by long extension mascara, for fuller lashes. Now, apply a blush in pink shades for a healthy glow. Lastly, complete the look with a long lasting lipstick, in any peachy or nude shades.

Khanna suggests that to get the correct winter look use warmer colours or add a lot of gloss to lighter shades. And, one very important tip for the right foundation is try the foundation on your jaw line and buy the one that blends with you skin perfectly!

So what's your New Year look this time? Go ahead and do your own beautiful experiments....
