And, why not? After all,one get’s to interact, click, and interview the sought-after Bollywood celebrities who have marked their lasting impression on the global cinema.
Now, when you are attending such a mega event that would be clicked countlessly, it’s very important to carry a camera that does the needful in the best possible way. But carrying a DSLR could be really cumbersome, and that’s exactly when you feel the need of a Smartphone, which can offer professional results, at par to a DSLR. And, guess what? We found the answer in Huawei India’s newly launched Honor5C. Yes, the brand came on board with us as our lovely photography partner, and we got some great shots of the IIFA with a clarity that can be printed for a banner-size. The picture above is the beautiful Westin Palace Hotel, where the Bollywood celebrities were staying for the event. The picture is a candid shot, just before we entered the hotel to do one-on-ones with the key faces and attended the official press conference on Day1. The camera of this new smartphone impressed us right on day one, as the clarity was good enough to carry any filters. In fact, all the pictures used in this feature are just like that and no edits have been done to improve the sharpness, the colours, or even the photoshop effects.

Green Carpet, Who Wore What…
Once we were satisfied with the results of Honor5C, we used it like a pro for all the four days of the IIFA event. While day 1 was all about a formal introduction or a curtain raiser of the event, the next three days kept us totally on toes. But thanks to the lovely camera of Honor5C which did #Daretoperform and got us some cool results in form of these clicks. The idea was to get the celebrities talk about their dress, the style element. We wanted to take the inputs regarding the gadgets most of them use during such events, for their own instagram updates, but unfortunately, the celebrities to reveal about it… Nevertheless, Honor5C did capture some candid shots of celebrities like Frieda Pinto, Sonu sood, Shahid Kapoor, Sonaksi Sonakshi Sinha (check our snapchat), Priyanka Chopra (snapchat), lara Dutta, Aditi Rao Hyadri, Dia Mirza, Athiya Shetty just to name a few.

Attending an international event, where most of the traditional media is the international one and you turn out to be the only lifestyle blogger from India, covering it for a Bollywood-savvy reader, that’s the time when you heavily depend on the camera that you are using. As you would like to offer the best to your sincere reader, and Huawei’s Honor did it’s best. With 13Mp rear camera, and 8Mp the front one, we found it a great solution when it came to quick clicks at a crowded event like IIFA. Though, at some places the storage space turned out to be an issue, but thanks to the comfort of doing live from the event, we could easily dump it back on the laptop or PC once the live is flashed & delete to create a better space for further clicks & videos. Before we take you to the video results of this smartphone, how about you taking a look at the #Selfie mode of Honor5C, which came really well sans any filters…
And if you thought that we are done praising the camera and it’s results, then it’s high time you watch the videos that we shot usingHonor5C that we are sharing in the form of the links that we posted live on social media:
