The festivities are over but does that mean that you shouldn’t be on indulgence spree? Well, certainly not as there is a new, luxuriously beautiful and Indian fine dine restaurant that has opened up recently, and is worth all the indulgence, sans any guilt!
Kheer, Newest Indian Fine Dine Restaurant
The plush Roseate House Hotel in the capital city has a new address for you to explore and enjoy. Called as Kheer, this is the Indian fine dine restaurant that recently opened it’s doors to the foodies of New Delhi and of course, the international travellers. We got a chance to experience the hospitality and the food over a casual dinner once fine evening..
Kheer, the name is typically Indian, and offers the traditional Indian cuisine but with quite a modern presentation. Don’t confuse it with fusion as that’s confusion, you see. The food and the lavish menu at Kheer is a beautiful mix of North Indian, home-cooked style and street food variety. With every dish, you will feel a connect with some region or the other, especially, the street snacks that you relish every now and then in and around Delhi.
Does that mean you are coming all the way to this luxurious dining place just to try the home cooked food? Of course not! Located in the first floor of the hotel, the restaurant has a buzzing open kitchen, a lovely chaat bar, widespread dining area that can accommodate close to 200 guests, a mixology bar, a whiskey shelf and many more. Which means, once you are at Kheer, chances are you are gonna spend a leisure evening over cuisine and drinks that can extend easily upto 4 hours.
We simply loved the ambience and the whole feel of the restaurant. Needless to say, food is the USP and dishes like subz ki Seekh Gucchi, Nadru Palak, Malabar Prawn, Chicken Biryani, Dal Dhungar, Bakarakhani just to name a few stand out instantly. The menu is not too big and yet more than enough to experience and enjoy. And, last but not the least are the desserts, which are Indian and that’s what we love. The sweet note of Kheer tasting platter is lip-smacking and you just wish to leave on that note but there’s more… Gulkand kulfi, Paan rasmalai..
The list as we said is endless and thus, you yourself need to check it out as festivals are over but the craving for good food is always there. So, just dig-in!
