MG, that’s all set to roll it’s first connected car SUV Hector this summer talked about it’s technology and key partners who have come on board to bring out the first Internet car in India. Hector, the first SUV by MG will have a 10.4-inch vertically-oriented touchscreen, which will carry the naively developed iSmart interface. Apart from the expected levels of smartphone integration, with Apple and Android connectivity, the infotainment will offer a few segment-firsts which have been tailor-made for the Indian market.

In partnership with Nuance, MG is assuring that the voice assist system will be able to provide major voice assistance, even in areas of low network connectivity. In partnership with TomTom, MG will be offering onboard navigation, real-time traffic updates, and automatic updation of relevant routes. Gaana, yet another key partner will be providing its music service to MG India, and which has been optimized for the infotainment screen size. And lastly, PulseHub is a one-touch connection to MG India’s assistance centre, available 24×7.
